Hello and Welcome! My name is Lesley and I am the owner of Long Shots Photography. I am lucky enough to have three amazing boys, a wonderful husband, and four fur babies! I have always enjoyed photography. I purchased my first camera in 2013 with the intentions of photographing my family only but God had other plans. As my passion grew for photography, my business began to flourish. I must say, while it was unexpected, I am so beyond grateful and blessed to be able to do what I love for a living.
My family is my world. We love to be outdoors. Our favorite time together is when we are on our bass boat; crappie, bass, or walleye fishing. We are very family oriented and are always going from one event to the next. It is a crazy, chaotic life, but I would not change it for the world! Being a mother, I know how important it is to be able to capture timeless memories and to always be prepared for the unexpected.
When I am not behind the camera, you can find me somewhere between fishing, hiking, swimming in our pool, or on some kind of outdoor adventure. I am a coffee fanatic and my favorite food group is chocolate. I enjoy reading as well. I can spend a whole afternoon behind a good fantasy, murder mystery, or sci-fi book.
I love photographing so many things so I do not think I have a favorite subject to photograph. Everything I capture is unique and can be seen in so many perspectives. I enjoy learning and trying new things when it comes to photography too. I do not love stepping out of my comfort zone but I do so I can continue to grow as a photographer.
The last thing I would like to say is, there would be no Long Shots Photography with you! I would like to take a minute and tell you, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! Thank you for trusting me with all of your special moments in life. It is always an honor to partake in so many monumental moments.
FISHING IS AMAZING. I absolutely love it! Being out on our boat fishing for Bass, Crappie, or any fish really, is a great way to spend a day. I also love that this is a wonderful way to provide meals for our family and teach our kids to do the same for theirs one day.
I love a good ocean breeze with a view. Ocean views, sand in my toes, with the sound of families laughing is a perfect environment. Palm trees have always made me happy. I am not sure why. Maybe it is because they remind me of the south or the beach.
